Venue

The meeting will be held at the Corum in Montpellier, in Southern France. This venue accomodates comfortably 200 people in its conference facilities, and offers lodging to the majority of the participants. The others will be lodged at the Hotel Mercure Antigone, and a shuttle bus service will be available in the morning and in the evening between Hotel and the conference venue.

 








Montpellier

Montpellier is the capital and largest city in the region of Languedoc Roussillon. Montpellier is both an historic and a modern city. Its medical University dates back to 1220 and is one of the oldest in the world. Today it is a major university city with around 60,000 students spread over 11 disciplines. Research institutes and international companies are present in 3 key sectors: Biomedical, ICT and Agronomy.

The weather and clothing

June in this region is usually an Indian summer period and the weather is very pleasant, sunny and warm, with occasional thunderstorms. June average temperatures ranged between 16-25°C (60-76°F). You should bring a warm sweater or jacket for the evening.
